Of A Certain Age
I’m of a certain age, you see, when life becomes poetic
What used to seem the world’s true end, now harmless though frenetic
Now I don’t mind confusion much because I finally get it
Chaos makes the world go round
Yields beauty if you let it
#perspective
This poem was inspired by my realization that I have gained so much perspective over time, that now I go into new adventures knowing that there will be ups and downs, successes and failures. It's all a part of the process and I can just enjoy it and embrace life, seeing the poetry in it.
